Sydney Jewish Museum

Today we travel from the Central Coast to Sydney, stopping at the beautiful Lady Macquaries Chair for morning tea, then onto Darlinghurst to visit The Sydney Jewish Museum.

This unique and compelling museum traces the Australian Jewish Community from the arrival of the First Fleet to the present.

We embark on an Educational Tour of the Museum experiencing the history of the Holocaust with the opportunity to speak to Holocaust survivors and hear their stories.

This unique Museum displays the Jewish Civilisation & Culture, Memorials & Rememberance relating to the Holocaust and Education which includes state of the art displays, historical material and objects giving an example of man’s inhumanity to man which unfolds over six mezzanine levels.

There is also a gift shop on site for a souvenir or gift for every occasion.

After our visit to the Sydney Jewish Museum we enjoy lunch at a

local club at own cost.
