Warragamba Dam
![]() Today we depart the Central Coast and travel to the lower Blue Mountains area to Warragamba Dam.
Warragamba Dam is the main water storage for the City of Sydney.
En-route we will stop for morning tea.
We drive to the end of Eighteenth Street to the Warragamba Dam Viewing Platform which overlooks the dam wall and the new Spillway.
We will visit the Visitor Information Centre which houses an interactive display and views of the foundations of some of the worker barracks gives an interesting insight into the workings of Sydney’s major water storage.
A two course lunch will be served at the Warragamba Workers Club.
Admission, morning tea, lunch and coach travel all inclusive.
